Pastor Cohort Begins soon!

The Pastor Cohort is a 7-session accompaniment program designed to equip you with a better understanding of the 7 discipleship emphases required for reaching the young church. Marathon Youth Ministry (our partner) and the Office for Ministry with Youth will help your parish grow young through content, personal coaching, and resources. We will walk with you through the process as you identify challenges and outline strategies for parish growth and leadership, set future goals, and design ongoing partnerships.

The 7 Discipleship Emphases:

1. Personal Growth of Youth Leaders
2. Training Mentors
3. Nurturing Young People’s Belonging
4. Centering Teenagers’ Identity in Christ
5. Exploring Young People’s Purpose
6. Equipping Diverse Families
7. Leading Change in the Community

Sessions:

• Orientation: (In-person) Identifying challenges and outlining strategies.
• Session 2 (Virtual): Understanding MCODE™ results.
• Session 3 (In-person) Masterclass modules from the TENX10 Initiative.
• Session 4: (Virtual): Follow up to Masterclass modules.
• Session 5: (In-person) Strategies for parish growth and leadership.
• Session 6: (Virtual): Follow up strategies for parishes.
• Wrap-Up Session: (In-person) Setting future goals and designing ongoing partnerships. (see below)

Session Details:

• The Virtual sessions are a follow-up that occurs two months after the in-person.
• Orientation and Wrap will be a full-day event (9 am-3 pm) consisting of prayer, team-building activities, discussion, and planning. 
• In-person sessions run a half day (sometime between 10 am – 3 pm), consisting of prayer, an Introduction of the Topic, a Discussion, an Application Exercise, and a Closing Prayer.
• Virtual sessions are 75 minutes via Zoom. These consist of prayer, check-in, and follow-up discussion to exercises and materials shared from in-person sessions.

• The Pastor Cohort is FREE to you.
• The 7 sessions are a combination of in-person and Zoom over a span of one year.
• Registrations are open!
  • A date for the first session will be selected with participants to ensure everyone’s participation.
